Michael J. Scanlan is a project leader and systems-driven builder specializing in residential design, construction, and energy-integrated solutions. With a foundation in finance and over a decade of experience in utility-scale solar and global project management, he brings a rare combination of analytical rigor and hands-on execution to every project.

Michael began his career in financial modeling and project controls, developing forecasting systems and cost strategies for multi-billion-dollar energy portfolios across North America, Asia, and the Middle East. This experience shaped his approach to risk, efficiency, and decision-making—principles he now applies directly to residential projects.

Through MJS Home Services and Current Tides Systems, he leads end-to-end project delivery—from concept and design through construction and final integration—focusing on streamlined execution, cost transparency, and long-term performance. His work incorporates advanced energy systems including solar, battery storage, and hybrid/off-grid configurations, alongside thoughtful space planning and functional design.

In parallel, Michael designs and builds energy-independent overland platforms, applying real-world testing to refine mobile power systems, storage solutions, and field-resilient infrastructure.
